1972 RS Camaro owned by Rick Skelton (Kearns, Ontario)

Rick is the 3rd owner of this 72 RS. He bought it from his uncle 19 years ago. The car was originally green. He drove it like that for a while and then torn it down completely.

The engine block is original. It is a 350 bored .030 over with a 650 Holley double pumper, high rise intake with a K&N filter to allow a lot of air in to be exhausted by the ceramic coated headers. Very neat under this hood.

Rick and his girl friend Jo-Anne have made many improvements over the years. These include: tires and wheels, custom interior and chrome side pipes.

With the release of the Transformers movie, Rick's car has gotten the nickname of "Bumblebee". Rick enjoys driving Bumblebee as much as possible and that's a good thing because he lives over 4 hours north of Sudbury! Future plans call for an underhood supercharger. Sounds exciting..good luck.
