Welcome

What's better than a bumblebee? Why, 2 Bumblebees, of course!

A (new) Message from the President
Hello and thanks for visiting our web site. As president of the Ontario Camaro Club, may I welcome you. We are Canada’s largest Camaro only car club and have been since our beginning in 1988. Our members proudly show their affection for the Chevy muscle car and enjoy sharing the Camaro experiences they have had. It is our goal to bring our members together and connect them with other Camaro enthusiasts. We enjoy an excellent relationship with General Motors of Canada and currently, this is keeping us on track with the latest developments surrounding the all new fifth generation Camaro.
As we plow into 2008, there are a lot of issues that weigh heavily on a car hobbyist’s mind. What effect will the economy will have on your Camaro? What will my car be worth? Should I sell, should I buy? Will the new Camaro be a hit? The future is not clear to anyone; however, Camaros are not going away. Some of the worst economic times have yielded the most desired cars. When I think back about ten years, a deal I thought was an outrageously high selling price would be dirt cheap by today’s standards. It is entirely possible that ten years from now Camaros that survived today’s economic shake up might just very well be the hot cars for collectors in the future. In ten years, the Ontario Camaro Club will be enjoying its 30th Anniversary and the Camaro will be over fifty years old. I was too young to drive when the 1967 Camaro was born but you can bet I won’t be too old for the 50th Anniversary edition Camaro in 2017. We intend to keep the Camaro alive and well, so if you share the passion, review this site and become a member. This is our club’s 20th anniversary and the OCC invites you to come out, join and celebrate with us. Have fun and keep the faith.
Dale Oldham President, Ontario Camaro Club

About Us
The Ontario Camaro Club is dedicated to the preservation
of the Camaro. We encourage the ownership and care
of all Camaros ...original, restored, modified or race
ready.
Our club was established in August 1988 as the Ontario
Chapter of the International Camaro Club. On January
1, 1999, we became the Ontario Camaro Club. We are
an independent organization managing our own membership,
newsletter, events and website.
We are a non-profit entity and proceeds resulting
from any of our special activities are for the benefit
and support of our selected charity, the Spina Bifida
and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario. To find out
more about SB&H scroll further down this page and
click on their "logo button".
Every year, we host the Ontario Camaro Nationals which
is the longest running Camaro-only show in Canada and
this coming June 2007 will mark our 19th annual event.
For more information on this year's show click on:
'2007 SHOW'.
We are very indebted to our valued Sponsors who make
our show and our very existence possible. Please support
them at every opportunity. Click on: 'SPONSORS'
to find out who can help you with your Camaro.
We have over 250 active members. Although most of
our members are from the province of Ontario, we do
have members from other provinces and the United States
as well.
Our meetings are on the last Saturday of the month
from September to May (excluding December) at Wilson
Niblett Chevrolet in Richmond Hill, Ontario....our
new headquarters dealership.
Along with our annual Summer BBQ, we choose a show
each summer as our club participation event and travel
as a group to one of our brother/sister club shows.
We never go unnoticed at these events. Our awesome
cars always take more than their fair share of awards
and along with our Main Tent sporting our club banner
and apparel, the OCC makes a positive impression wherever
it goes.
Each March, the OCC participates in Performance World
at the International Centre on Airport Road in Toronto
where we have a four car display made up of members’ cars.
Each year will see four new/different cars being showcased.
To find out about membership in the OCC, just click
on: 'MEMBERSHIP'. Our Membership
Application/Renewal Form can be printed from this section.
We have come a long way and there's a lot more of the
journey left. So come aboard for the great Camaro experience....
OCC style!!
